The Language of School

  • Support for Mathematics and English/Language Arts teachers to improve the performance of English learners across the curriculum
  • Online Courses and Web-based resources - with university credit

Grants

  • UCPDI received a California Postsecondary Education Commission (CPEC) Improving Teacher Quality Grant entitled "Access to the Core." Access to the Core is a four-year partnership with Los Angeles Unified School District Local District 6

Developing Teacher Leadership

  • Opportunities for university faculty and classroom teachers to collaborate on programs which have a direct impact on closing the achievement gap at the secondary level
